  1. They claim it's for "security" reasons, but actually, it's because they're just d**n nosy b******s.


  2. security measure. To make sure the person that owns the card is actually the one using it.

    like in Denver its 80215, if you input that the tax is 7.6%

    but, if you put in 80228, which is Jefferson Cnty its 2.6%

    i do that at my job, i try to save customers money, so i always use Jeffco

    =)

  4. They say its for security.... but I think they do it to study there customer base to know how and where to advertise. As the person said above for tax=no way beacause tax is included in the price of gas and it is charged federal and by state, not by county.
