MY HUSBAND LOST HIS JOB . HAD TO FIND A NEW ONE. AT THE SAME TIME WE FELL BEHIND IN OUR BILLS. WAS UNABLE TO GET HELP FROM CUMMUNITY OUTLETS BECAUSE WE WORKED. THEN I SAW THIS AD ON THE NEWS. GOVERNMENT HELPING THOSE WHO HAVE FALLEN BEHIND ON BILLS TO HELP THEM SAVE THIER HOUSE. AND THE FUNNY THING IS YOU HAVE TO HAVE A GOOD CREDIT SCORE. ARE THEY JUST STUPID OR DON'T THEY REALIZE WHEN YOU GET BEHIND IT EFFECTS YOUR SCORE. KNOW WONDER OUR NATION IS IN THE STATE THAT IT IS IN. WE LOST OUR HOME NOW TRYING TO FIND A PLACE TO LIVE, THIS SUCKS. IF WE DON'T WORK WE GET ALL KINDS OF HELP. BUT SENSE WE ARE TRYING TO DO WHATS BEST AND SHOW THAT WE ARE BEING RESPONSIBLE WE GET KNOW HELP. SOMETHING WRONG HERE.

  1. call Mrs. bush ... she's into families

once it was said, ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country

    ... its all so confusing

  2. Sit on the corner with a tin cup. Save the money, go to Mexico, denounce your citizenship and become Mexican citizens.

Sneak back into the US, and apply for aid, and they will give you a "dope" house, a "dope" mercedes, and a job. Then reapply for citizenship.

    Good luck!!!

  3. Great question!

For the same reason our liberal government can "Bail Out" our hard working  farmers, ranchers and auto makers; why can't hard working individuals like you and I also be be entitled to the same... if we needed the option!

Bail-outs and out sourcing seems to be (in-part) socialism on the road to becoming its best!

If capitalism is on its way out the door is social salvery (socialism) soon to follow?

There is no real middle class or at least it has vanished as compared to just only 50 years a go!

What you and I are experiencing is the results of our fearless "new world order" leaders at their best!

And, its not working out to good for me!

    How's it working for you?

I hope and wish for you and your family the very best in dealing with this serious issue.

    Ed

  4. Something is right in that I, the taxpayer, am not forced to pay money to bail you out of your hardships.  We have plenty of programs, from unemployment to general welfare, but you are talking about retaining a valuable asset and having the taxpayers pay to have you retain your wealth.   Sell the house and live on the proceeds until you get back on your feet, then buy another.  if you have other assets, sell them.  But don't ask me to bail you out.

  5. Why not?

When they were living human kind like you and me with families to care for too.

In giving them time to recover and stand on their own in time.

Instead of letting them live in misery at loss and stranded out there.

  6. No, it is just an attempt to sell you a grant book you don't need. Go to any main branch of the library and you can review the books listing grants to individuals for free.

Depending on your area, there may be help available. Go in person to HUD office, do not call first....Foreclosure assistance may be available.

Working poor don't get enough help to keep from being homeless in my opinion. Once you are homeless with kids it impossible to keep working. A vicious spiral down...
