Why does the inside of my dryer smell like a f**t?

lol im serious! but my clothes still smell good... ?? yeah weird... i did wipe down the inside of it with mr clean w/ febreeze, and cleaned the lint filter.. will that help? but why did it smell like that?

Lol! Never smelled a dryer like that. Try cleaning it out with bleach and water and allow it to dry. Leave the dryer door open when you are finished with loads. This way no smell gets trapped inside.

I would call the  gas company to check for leaks, if not a leak it could be mold or stagnant water  in the bottom of the drum part, You can run a cycle of bleach/water though a couple of times.

Check to see if the dryer vent hose has come off of the vent.  Move dryer out to check if there is a build-up of lint back there and reattach the hose.  I had a dead mouse under my dryer.  Worse than f**t.  Good luck.

lol.. that's amazing..! My steam iron sounds like a f**t when i'm jet steaming my cloths... The smell is sensational though I must admitt and my gf' can never work out how i manage get such a sweet smell.. maybe you can wash and i'll iron..?

I am thinking fungus / spores aka " Mold " so I'd be using an " Anti-fungal Soap / cleaner "

No pun intended, but do you have a gas dryer or electric? If it is gas, you may want to call the gas compny and check for leaks
