Why does the internet in NZ have gig limits?

we have a 3gig limit for this month..

I want to watch videos in youtube but I'm afraid we might

exceed our gig...we just moved here so I was just wondering why there is a limit here while in my country we have no limit in using the internet as llong as u paid for that month..hehheh

  1. Um this is the Australian section.  You could try the New Zealand section. But the internet in Australia has them to, so its probably to make more money

    I just checked on the "unlimited usage" plans, available in QLD, and found 59 separate plans starting at $54.95

    However, I prefer the plans with limits as it saves me money, not having to pay for something I don't need.

    10 Gb per month for $45 at 1512k speed does me better than unlimited but for more money.

  3. You can keep an eye on what you use. If you don't know how ask your provider. They usually slow you down when you ar near the limit. It depends on what plan your on. how much you pay
