  1. Ventricular Septum. The greater portion of it is thick and muscular and constitutes the muscular ventricular septum, but its upper and posterior part, which separates the aortic vestibule from the lower part of the right atrium and upper part of the right ventricle, is thin and fibrous, and is termed the membranous ventricular septum. An abnormal communication may exist between the ventricles at this part owing to defective development of the membranous septum.

Its all got to do with vascular resistance. The ventricles pssively receive blood from their corresponding atria, then have to overcome the blood flow and pressure to where they pump the blood to. The right ventricle, needs to overcome the resistance of blood through the pulmonary circulatio, while the eft ventricle needs to overcome systemic blood pressure and peripheral vascular resistance.

In comparison, the left indeed has more work to do and thus adapts by having more smooth muscle bulk. This is the same reason why uncontrolled hypertension will cause left ventricular hypertrophy in time.

  2. The left ventricle has a thicker wall because it needs more muscle to pump the blood throughout the entire body, whereas the right ventricle only has to pump the blood into the lungs to re oxygenate it.

  3. The left ventricle has a thicker wall because it needs more muscle to pump the blood throughout the entire body, whereas the right ventricle only has to pump the blood into the lungs to re oxygenate it

  4. left ventricle has more pressure than the right

  5. Left ventricle which open in to aorta to circulate blood to different parts of body required more muscle power.

  6. the main reason is because it has to withstand a higher pressure when pumping blood from the heart to the rest of the body.

  7. Left ventricle possess a thicker wall because they have to pump the oxygenated blood to the main artery Aorta through which it is transported to all the body parts.

  8. Left ventrical has to pump blood through out the body.

  9. The right ventricle is the section of the heart from which blood is pumped out to the body, so it has to be strong to withstand the powerful muscular contractions.

  10. this is because left ventricle has to supply blood to the whole body and rite only has to pump to lungs...for pumping blood to the whole body...it needs more muscles daz left ventricel is thicker

  11. Because the left ventricle needs more more muscle to pump out the blood.

  12. right ventricle gives blood to nearby organs like the lungs so it needs a less thick wall whereas left ventricle has to supply blood to all parts of the body and so it pumps with larger pressure and to sustain that pressure it is thick

  13. because it needs more power in pumping the blood all through out the body.
