I'm sure most of us have noticed right hand dominance in every day life. What are the possible reasons for this?

  1. I found this answer here: http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/7310

The human brain is divided in two halfs, the right one is responsible for everything we do with our LEFT side, and the left half for everything we do with our RIGHT side.

And the two halfs have different tasks. The right one is the creative part of our brain (center of talents in music and art, for example), while the left one is the center of speech, learning, mathematic skills etc. So the center of speech is in the half which is also responsible for the right side of our body, and that's the reason why there are more right-handed people.

P.S.: But as the right half is the creative one, the left handed people are said to be more creative, too...but don't be sad, right-handed people, we're better in maths...=)

ALSO if you look up HANDEDNESS in wiki you'll find more information.

    Hope this helps a little.

  2. Well back in medival times, left handed people were considered evil and part of the devil so everyone made their kids right handed.

  3. The gene for right-handedness is dominant.

  4. because its right.

  5. We don't have a real answer to that.

There is just some confusing theory about which part of brain does what.

Don't take that guy talking about middle ages seriously.
