Why does the music i have stored on my computer play slow?

if i listen to any music on my computer it plays slow mp3s, if i watch a music video like from youtube the music playback is slow etc.

How long has this been happening? I had the same problem and I did a "system restore". If you can remember when it first started happening you can do a "system restore" back to when you knew it was running better. You will not lose any saved files or e-mails. If that doesn't work you can un-restore it back to the way it is now. You also might want to do a registry clean. The gentleman before me had a good idea also. I hope it works for you.

May be virus or you may not maintain your hard disk!!! defragment the disk regularly...
