  1. Stop using airsole or gel-sole shoes.

  2. you might have shin splits. also, if you just started running 2 weeks ago, your body is not used to all that running, so that means your working muscles that haven't been worked this hard, and they hurt. But the more you hurt, the more your pushing yourself, which is a good thing. the best thing i can suggest is to take a day off from running and ice your legs really good. also, you might not have proper running shoes. always get a name brand running shoe with a good cushion.

  3. your shoes are worn out. i suggest getting asics shoes with gel inserted into the heel. i had really bad shin splints and when i started using those they healed up.

  4. Because you need to take it easy and start out slowly.

  5. 1. get some good shoes to suit your foot positioning. A reputable shop where they put you on a treadmill or machine is preferable. A sports physio could also help.

    2. if you can afford have a session with a running coach to improve your technique. Even if you're only running for fitness this is worthwhile as poor technique can damage joints.
