Question:

Why does the person who deleted my questions feel the need to police GWS?

My questions were "do you feel attractive today," and "who is your favorite GWS contributor." How exactly is this chating? There all kinds of ridiculous questions up here that are meant only to get people worked and be mean to women and no one deletes them. What is the deal.

I guess if I ask why women think they have a place in life other than the kitchen or the bedroom, I'll be okay.

  1. I had an answer removed as being against the rules and all I said was "it isn't" thats all I said. Someone reported that as not an answer. The querstion was in nutshell asked why something is natural with alot of details after. I simply put "it isn't" and it was reported. (with no way to reply or appeal, nice system Yahoo)

Yet I see questions about feminism and driving cats. (think that ones is finally gone) Obvious trolling. Some are borderline. Plenty somehow are quite obviously trolling get reported and somehow yahoo sleeps. If it doesn't fit the catagory and isn't a true question by the rules then yes it should be moved or deleted.

  2. Because the trolls are azzholes, see how nicely it rhymes when it's true,.

  3. Don't worry about it.....

  4. Mine was deleted too, someone must have been having fun last night.  I know I complained about the one about favorite contributer Bas, but I did not report it, it was a legitimate question.

Is it really Trolls, or is Yahoo itself trolling us these days.

  5. they're considered chatting, not a question that meets the requirement to be posted on YA

  6. Well, your questions do seem like chatting, but they're hardly worth reporting.  I think some people are just jerks.

  7. I had a question deleted for solicitation!  I truly believe that YA favors certain posters over others.  Notice how the "Taking a Breather coffee break" comes up when you answer/ask volatile questions?

  8. I don't see anything wrong with them. I have seen much worse!

  9. This place is peppered with report monkeys.

    .........................................

A message to report monkeys: Yahoo has re-instated my wrongly-deleted questions and answers and assured me that the people who reported my Q&As will have less influence if reporting in the future. You have blotted your copybooks so be warned.

EDIT: Two downthumbs for stating the obvious. So that must mean that there are two report monkeys amongst us.

  10. To be honest, those are chatty questions though their friendly nature repudiates the need to report them. Perhaps they do so because they feel it gives them power to give someone a violation.

  11. You first should read the Guidelines for this site. "How do you feel today" type questions are clearly "chat" as described in them.

Discussing other members by name, or eliciting such talk, also prohibited.

Then you should go to Help: Community Moderation, so you can read how the system works.

There's no reason to assume there's only one person who reported your questions. As for other questions, you don't know whether they were removed after you saw them, but that's irrelevant.

You risk losing your entire Yahoo account by persisting in violating the Guidelines.

If you see questions that violate the Guidelines (including hate speech, or insulting other members), click Report It.
