Why does the phone beep like 4, 5 times before going to the dial phone when I use speaker phone?

It would help if you told us what kind of phone you have.

The first thing that comes to mind is, a broken dial tone indicates unlistened to voicemail messages.  That's assuming the phone has VM . . .

It is either searching for the signal or your battery is low. Or at least that is what my phone does.

If your phone has backup batteries (like 'AA') replace them and see if that cures it....
