Why does the press continue to insinuate that visiting Hawaii was a bad idea for Obama?

First Cokie Roberts said he should have gone to Myrtle Beach. Now that idiot who fills in for O'reilly is saying the same thing. If you were embarking on becoming the leader of the most powerful country in the West, would you perhaps want to be grounded and at peace with your life? The guy visited his grandmother, the sight he poured his mom's ashes into the ocean, his grandfathers grave at Punchbowl...still, idiots in the press say he should have gone to Myrtle beach. "He looks like he's out of touch with reality". All's I know...I want nothing to do with the reality they're serving up, if a pointless vacay @ Myrtle Beach is a better idea than visiting family and raising a few more million for his campaign.

  1. obama rocks, i sure hope he wins over mccain.. everyone who likes him should vote for him on this page (and get a free gift card!!).

  2. The Press is an a s s.  No one would ever vote for any of them even for the school board.

They have always had strange ideas how any canidate should act, or what they should do, or where they should go.  Remember they critized Bush for reading to school children when 911 happened.

  3. I haven't heard cokie robert's comments, but are you really surprised that someone on Fox Noise would find fault in anything Obama does?  I don't even like Obama, but i certainly don't look to Fox for "fair and balanced" info on the man.

If Obama was that in love with Hawai'i, perhaps he wouldn't have migrated to Illinois for political gain.  I live in Michigan, and I know where I'd rather live.

  4. if it was a bad idea, then why did george bush follow suit?
