Why does the price go down for Liability Insurance for someone who just recently graduated?

I am wondering if they are thinking that you have the most up to date information for your field of work?

  1. Depends.  What kind of liability coverage are you talking about?  Car insurance?  Graduated from what?  high school?  College?  It also depends on the company your insurace is with.  Some companies offer discounts depending on your education.


  2. What KIND of liability?  General, or auto?  

    Generally, it doesn't go down after graduation.  Typically, especially if you're talking auto, it goes down because you've been driving 4, 5, 6 years, whatever your company likes.

    That discount varies by state, by company, and by line of business.  Most likely, it has nothing to do with that degree.
