  1. That queen of England women is still alive? I haven't heard of her for a while. I can't answer your question but maybe it is  for England, who knows were the money goes. I have to admit I like her spunk!!

  2. Its not easy supporting all the useless relatives ....................

house keepers, and the like must be paid for their services.

  4. It takes a lot of money to be a meaningless figurehead.

  5. It belongs to her - it has her picture on it.

The Queen and her large family, their security, Banquets for other heads of state all outings and other work for the state costs the public, £37.4 ($18.9) million each year, or £1.18 for each taxpayer while Tony Blair and his wife last year cost £8,398.68 ($4,194.34) just in extra expenses. Who's Taking the P155 ???

  6. she doesnt need the money but the system already gives people of royalty this money [and no one complains] so [the cycle] will just keep going

  7. Who knows? Like any person she needs food, some shelter and clothes. With the current cultural and historical set up in old England multimillion's of English pounds are available for this queen personage. So per se I wouldn't say she as a person needs such wealth anymore than anyone else living on the British Isles. Maybe such a modest queen would be happier and respected greater by the "subjects:. Where and too whom one is born to does definitely have an effect on the outcome of your life, but many people have changed their lifestyle both significantly better (wealthier & happer) and significantly worse (life of crime ending in prison  and/or in bread lines) than would have generally been expected when the individual was born. C'est la vie?

  8. im sure the electricity bill for buckingham palace isn't cheap.

  9. the Queen is the head of state in the UK.  Heads of state cost money.  If we had an elected head of state they would not be any cheaper.  I don't suppose the White House is exactly cheap to maintain.
