Why does the "My Yahoo" homepage re-arrange itself every time you leave that site? How can you stop it?

I use "My Yahoo" as my homepage. I have many different news organizations and other things on that page. I like each item to be in a certain order. Everytime I leave "My Yahoo", go to another site, and come back to my "My Yahoo" page, things have re-arranged themselves and nothing is in the order I had put them in! Does anyone know how to "lock down" the "My Yahoo" homepage, so that everything will stay in the order I placed them???? Thanks!!!!!!!!!

  1. does it keep you signed in? You can set yahoo to rember your username and password for two weeks if you don't sign out. Maybe it is signing out whenever you close the window and thus all your settings are lost. If you are signed in, but your settings are still getting changed, i would look around on your profile or somthing.

  2. It's a simple thing, but sometime we forget to enter "save" or "okay", whatever signifies affirmative after you make your changes.

  3. It does not matter how many sites you visit note that whenever you exit them and later feel like getting back to those sites, "My Yahoo" page will always appear first before you access the same sites or new ones as you like. Hence, "My Yahoo" page is a door or an entrance to access sites of ones choice.
