Question:

Why does the radio play such a limited scope of music?

I think about the millions of albums that have been released over the years and wonder why the only thing the radio seems to play is a fraction of a percentage of the albums released in the past month. Even "classic" radio plays just the hits of the day! And do we really need to hear the same songs over and over?

  1. Terrestrial radio is controlled by the corporate masses.  Its a business and they play what makes them the most money.

BUT Internet radio is the wave of the future.  they play what THE PEOPLE want. Take for example my favorite

www.radiofreetexas.org  the playlist is Completely request driven.  If your tired of the same ol "15 Songs" you should go over and check them out.
