  1. The rain forest has the greatest diversity in living organisms because such places have the mandatory ingredients for the majority of life: warm weather and frequent rain. They combine to form the ultimate conditions in which many life forms can sucessfully live. I know that you are sort of asking why that is, and the answer is really sort of simple -- organisms need a certain amount of heat to survive and rainforests provide this better and more constantly than you would see in other areas. At the same time, these climates make water very available because rain is common. When you have a climate that has lots of water and heat, therer are mnore varieties of life that exist because they are the right conditions.

  3. TIME & HEAT& WATER

Rainforrests  have a very high canopy ,where the crowns of the trees are .like the red woods in vancouver island .

so there are many levels of bio diversity that can fit in ,like a big box of life ,

the conditions are optimal ,lots of heat & water ,lots of Humidity(day and night)

it is not sunlight, because rain forrests are half shade ,the sun only hitting the tops ,but a lot of heat is created .

and most important of all,it works all year around ,

no winter or autemn to slow things down or stop them .

life goes on day after day ,this is why growth in the tropics is so vigorous ,because it is all the time .

    BIODIVERSITY

    And everything follows everything else

    lots of different plants &Trees

    lots of different bugs ,

every body that eats the bugs  ,

    everybody that eats the plants

    and everybodies  predators

  4. ...

Why could thunder lizards not live in places

like Malaysia or Vietnam or Laos?

A movie I saw once showed a huge cypress

in Southeast Asia.  It was a monster.  The

people walking by the tree were incredibly

small.  You could tell by the cypress knees.

And the leaves of undergrowth, shrubs, were

    huge.

Many animals, based on "common knowledge",

are much larger than in tropical as

    opposed to cooler climates.

    Examples are insects and reptiles.

  5. Well, beuase it has alot of water,a good canopy, and enough for the carnovores to eat, herbivores and omnivores have plenty of leaves and plants to eat, so for animals, its a sanctury for them. Me? In my bed playing video games or watching T.V

  6. yes, the optimum conditions for flora and fauna.

  7. Because it provides alot of different things for different types of organisms, so there you go.

It has trees and wetness and rivers. This brings in everything that lives in trees, rivers, bushes, dirt, etc. And alot of those creatures bring in other organisms.
