  1. It could be a few things, most commonly from the defrost. If you have moister inside your unit you probably have a clogged drain leading to your drain pan. drain pans don't generally over fill ! It also could be that your system is freezing up and melting by the compressor!

  2. Have you emptied the condensate drip pan?.Does it have an ice maker(could be water valve)? When was the last time you cleaned the condenser coils?

  3. I would bet you have a puddle of water under the crispers in a top freezer unit or a block of ice in the bottom of the freezer of a side by side.

Yes, as mentioned, both caused by a plugged or slow defrost drain that is now frozen up.

    That is the most common.

  4. 1. That evaporation tray has a hose that comes from the top. It is usually in the back of the fridge. It may be cracked or leaking and needs t o be replaced.

    2. Sometimes the gasket on the fridge or freezer door leaks. If that happens, the cold air will condense any moitre in the air and it will drip on the floor.

    3. If you have an ice maker, the water supply line may be dripping.

  5. Self-defrosting refrigerators sometimes produce more melt water than the evaporation tray can handle.   Also, many of those evaporation trays have heating elements to speed up evaporation - if yours has one like that and the heating element is burned out, it might overflow after a defrost cycle, particularly if you are in a humid area.

  6. I think you will have a wet wall fridge which is self defrosting

the water runs out a hose at the back and drains down into a tray which is sitting on the compressor which then evaporates then water away .

the problem with water on the floor can be caused by a couple of things

    1. the drain hole at th ebottom inside  your fridge gets clogged with bits of paper or something and the water runs down the floor of the fridge and onto the floor.

this is easily solved by clearing the drain pipe out with  a piece

    of wire or something similar.

The other reason may be the container under the fridge may me clogged up with gungs  so check that too

  7. Your condensate drain pan under the fridge is full.

Dump it, wash it, dry it and put it back. Normally

the pan evaporates at room temperature. During the

summer months the fridge works a little harder to cool

so the pan has a little more water in it than usual.

Remedy to this put the unit on energy conserve and

take excess items out of the freezer. Blockage of

air movement in the freezer causes excess defrosting

cycles and more drainage to the pan.
