Why does the right side of my lower back hurt?

Question

club soda...I obviously know this isn't a veg. question but think about it.....I want a alternative point of view NOT a conventional one. I feel this part of yahoo answers is more alternative. And therefore has more people who believe in alternative medicine like I do. I think if I place this ques somewhere else I will get a answer I 100% don't agree with.

that is where your sciatic nerve is, it can cause back pain, sometimes going into your right leg, making it feel numb and tingly, it hurts like heck and there is nothing they can do for it, good luck

If it hurts near where you would place your hands when placing them on your hips, it could be that you are developing a kidney stone or a kidney infection.  If it persists for more than three days, make an appointment to see your doctor as either one of these conditions can become quite painful and debilitating and if it is an infection, you will need to be put on antibiotics quickly.
