Why does the search give me Searches instead of sites ?

YAHOO , is the Problem , it seems its NOT spyware , I DONT have any spyware , everytime i go to yahoo and search , they always post their TOP picks , and such , and their TOP finds , I.E. they FIND the top Search engines and/or TOP PriceSearch sites which sends us in a search on their page OUT of yahoo's search

( When searching for a product , say "ceiling fan" for instance )

wasnt that why we went to yahoo to search anyhow ?

Are youseeing this after you click on a link on the yahoo page?

You may be winding up on a page designed to do that. It is a internet marketing technique. If you go to one of their sponsors they get a commission.

for one thing they need to update them and another reason try google there good when it comes to search. But yahoo top google 85%. Try it.

well the reason its redirecting you to these stupid little search engines is because their is nothing else but them showing up with the information your typing in try different words it may help. also i hate that as well its not only annoying but wastes my time i like the yahoo search i find allot of stuff through it and i use it as my main search engine but no matter what search engine you use your going to run into this but when searching look at the green address before you click on the blue link if you notice similarities then its probably the same stupid search engine. but reword and use key words. try different ways of saying it. if your searching for things you may not have to put so much in just put electric fan or something. also i noticed batroot in some of the addresses that sent me to search engines but about the only way you will get around it is glancing at the address in green or by changing the keywords you are using. oh and it doesn't really matter the order you put the words in just what words you use. so change them or say the same thing without using the same words. searching on the net isn't the easiest task in the world because their is so many scams and so much junk out their trying to find the right stuff takes some time. sorry but i hear what your saying and your preaching to the choir. good luck. - oh and you might also try the company your looking for or would like to see. if you have a particular business you would like to deal with. and ebay is like a giant auction site so you might try it.

I wouldn't use Yahoo Search if they paid me to use it.  Most other search engines are better, in my opinion, than the Yahoo one.  Try Google instead.  Or Google (or if you insist... use Yahoo Search) "search engines". There are a number of good ones to check out.  They all give you web sites.  Basically, you click on the name... it brings you to the site.  The addresses themselves aren't shown on a search list in any search engine results.
