Why does the videos lag?

Question

i have a family guy dvd and bought daniusoft dvd ripper and ripped some clips off it, when i play the clips on the computer, it runs really smoothly, but when i put it on my phone (Nokia 5610 Xpress Music, MP4 player) as a mp4 file, and play it, it lags and does not play it smoothly? any ideas how to make it play smoothly on my phone? any ideas would be greatly appreciated

It depends on you processor speed and the size of the file. The larger the file the greater the detail, and thus the need for a faster processor. Try to use divx mobile and the mobile converter. I watch movies on my Tilt with no lag except for when I change from portrait to landscape.
