The Detroit Casinos closely guard their monopoly on local area gambling. They fear any competition that will eat into their margins and will lobby to stop any gaming type of activity within what they consider their drawing area.

They will try to stop any casino initiative that may affect them, including anything in the Flint Area.

maybe the poverty level?  you could always head over to soaring eagle, or its new branch saganing eagle in standish.

to be honest it might not be worth your time, i didnt realize its about the same distance away as detroit..just to the north. :/ eh sorry.
