  1. The genes that control skin, hair and eye color are all linked on the same chromosome. That's why most red-heads also have fair skin and light-colored eyes and most black people have dark hair and dark eyes.

It also has to do with how much melanin our bodies produce. Melanin controls not only how dark your skin is but also how dark your hair and eyes are.

  2. theres no 'white race' theres 3 basic groups:

Caucasian - which is like europeans, indians (from india not native americans) etc

N*groid - Which is mainly black Africans.

    and

Mongoloid -  which is like oriental people i.e chinese mongolian, korean, japanese etc.

it all depends on the three face and skull types. there are 3 distinctly different skull shapes.

and other races do. like chinese people and northern indian people also have blue eyes but i think all black people have brown eyes, but i'm sure there could be exception.

    hope this helps :)

  3. A distinguishing characteristic of the Europeans is a deficiency of melanin. This makes other pigments more obvious, especially in the hair and eyes.

It's not really true that Africans and Asians don't have a variety of hair and eye colors; that's largely a part of the "they all look alike" syndrome - we tend to be less observant of differences among people who look very different from ourselves.

  4. Coming from Native American descent I believe that we all have different color of eyes and hair too. Some of my family members have green eyes, hazel eyes, or brown eyes. Some have curly hair, some have straight hair. And some have light hair some have dark..etc.

White race isn't all just white either.. I mean isn't there the Irish and Scottish who all seem to have reddish hair & pale tones. British, French, Italian, Spanish. They all have there own features that are distinct..it's just we're all so mixed now it's hard to tell.
