Why does the wire in my bras always pop out the top?

Question

I have a big set, like DD and i get good bras. However, the wire that runs under the boob and up towards the neck, always pops through and eventually breaks. ts really annoying and bras are expensive!!

What kind of bras would be good to advoid this? (Not sports bras tho)

Am I getting bras that are too big or too small? They feel right, tho.

any ideas or similar experiances?

Mine do that too, and its always my favorite ones.    I don't know if there is anything that we can do to stop the problem or any bra that is made from puncture proof material.  But if you ever find any...let me know k?

I got that same experience.  Your bras may be expensive, but they are poorly made.  You will have to switch around certain brands before you get the right one.

ummmm, i have the same prob sometimes. victorias secret has some wireless bras that arent like sports bras. try those. good luck.

Typically it is how you care for them that makes them do that. They should be hand washed in a gentle solution. They also should be hung dry over a pole or something so that the part that is between the cups is what is touching the horizontal pole or rod. That way the weight is distributed evenly.

NEVER wash them in the washer and never put them in the dryer. This will make the underwire pop out quick and ruin the shape of your bra. It is also likely that you have the wrong size, even if you think it fits. Most women do. You should find a shop that does bra fittings and have one sized for you. This will also help. Most likely the cup size is to small and the girth is too big. (That's what most people consider comfortable. LOL)

i think it happens because wrong washing method , try to wash it gently and don't use washing machine :D sorry for bad grammar or words

I think if the underwire pops out, it might mean that your band size is too large (if your bra moves around a lot, there's more friction and it wears it down).  Another possibility--if you wash them in hot water, sometimes that will cause the fabric to shrink and then the wires don't fit properly. I would get a bra fitting done by a few professionals to make sure you're wearing the right size, and handwash bras according to the care instructions on the label (or if you do machine wash them, put them in a bra ball or something similar, and let them air dry --dont' tumble dry them!).

yeah bigger girls usually shouldn't wear bras with an underwire. (its just that they don't really need them..)

What's happening is that it weighs so much that the wire is being pushed through the fabric.

It could be just from wear and tear or the way you wash them.

Try finding a bra that doesn't have underwire on it...they are out there!

Also, if you don't think your bra is the right size, go to victoria secret or nordstroms bra section and they can find your right size!!

I don't have big b***s, but that happens to me. Don't put your bras in the dryer after you wash them because that thins the material of it and makes it less comfortable. Thats the only thing i could think of to help it.
