Why does there seem to be a wall up on the northern and eastern parts of dallas and storms collapse?

Usually about about the dallas couny and collin county borders storms just detoriate when they were just super strong moments ago...only 3 big time storms have hit the garland area since september

There is probably some kind of microclimatological interference associated with this region. This could be because of dryness, too much stability, or something else.
