Why does this country need such strong defense from terrorists?

If we would just stop butting into world affairs, maybe they'd leave us alone. When's the last time Sweden was attacked by terrorists?

Exactly. If the US attempted to be a little more popular by dare I say it - acting like a fair and impartial player on the world stage - the hatred would no doubt be minimised. Perhaps a leader could talk to other nations that have no trouble with terrorism and take some notes.

Have you heard of 911. The koran teaches muslims that are destined to rule the world. If you are not muslim you will be converted, enslaved or killed. They will not stop no matter what we do. Sweden is a socialism country which is very friendly to Muslim World. Unfortunately, U.S. is a Capitalism country which is exploiting Muslim World.

It is too late for U.S. to withdraw from the world, unless al Qaeda can be the U.S. government and Laden is the president of U.S. This seems impossible. The christianity in U.S. would fight for their survival instead of turning into underground churches.

That means you have no choice but to fight for the survival of U.S. civilization.

I'm 54 years old and couldn't, did not, understand history while going to school.  We had war in our own country.  The blues against the reds.  Rebels and Yankees...something along those lines.  See what I mean...I am really bad.  But peace prevailed.  We also had slavery and that as well was abolished.  And here we are again, protecting people in our country.  Does this help?  I don't like the amount of $ going out to defend it when we have "our own" living in trash or eating from it.  Now that is BS.  LOL - Nancie
