  1. Yes, this is a long one.  Its alot better than a hurricane.  Dont worry too much.  At least its not so hot. Its been a problem walking my dog.  She doesnt like the rain.  I walk her in between the feeder bands- lol.

  2. haha. lol. I visted florida.

    I'm scared too, lol x]

    cause my relative lives there

  3. haha idk i am on vacation in florida its kinda scary

  4. Same.

But the reason it's not moving is because its trying to grow and stay together and not fall apart.

When it goes into any body of water, it gains power, thats why when it comes on land again it will be a category 1 hurricane.

  5. There is no strong weather pattern to direct the path of Fay. The high pressure system over New England isn't really going anywhere and until the system moves out over the ocean, Fay will continue to stall.

  6. The reason it stayed so long initially was that there was a stationary front to the North of Florida.  This slowed the progression to as standstill.  Now a high pressure area to the north East is just enough to keep feeding energy into the low pressure systemt that is Fay.

For several days it looked like a typical New England Nor'easter.  The low just sits there picking up moisture and dumping on land.  I feel for you.  Way too much rain!
