usually the guy asks the girl out, but if it were the other way around, then NO. but since girls dont usually ask guys out, i guess thats average...not alot, but not a little.

Your 'quick question', I believe, canNOT be answered by a 'quick answer'.  The pic. associated with your ID would indicate that you are a female, yet your question refers to a "guy" getting asked out three or four times -- BETWEEN 7th and 10th GRADE ?!?

If YOU are a female teenager attending a mixed s*x public school, *I* would think that being 'asked out' only three or four times during all of the time needed to complete even TWO years of schooling would be rather humbling for your self-esteem.

If YOU are a *guy*, I would think that you should be chagrined about waiting for some attractive female to 'ask you out' -- eh?
