Why does this guy act so strange?

I met my brother's best friend in a party for the first time. He introduced himself and he started a conv. and we were talking. I could not talk to him much because I needed to help my brother. He was trying to help me too.

I next time I saw him and I wished him, he didn't even cared to look at me and he didn't wish me back or talk to me. So I left from that place and I was talking to my friends (girls). And I caught him staring at me many times. I couldn't understand the whole situation so I left and he left after a 1min I left.

I don't understand why he was so nice to me in the beginning and then doesn't talk to me but keeps staring at me.

Does he think I am a bad person or something? I didn't mean to igmore him the first time, I just didnt have time to talk to him.

He probably feels like you brushed him off the first time you met. I most likely would have felt the same way. Even though you thought you had good reason he didn't.

You know when they say 'Girls are hard to understand!" Well it is the same for guys too!

They can be very difficult to understand. One way to go about it would be to approach him straight on and ask him what is wrong. But he might not give the real answer or just brush it off saying its nothing.

Or you could go the round about way and ask your brother to find out discreetly without revealing that you asked for his help.
