Why does this happen after I eat things with a lot of sugar?

After I eat something with a lot of sugar, cake, pie, etc., my body tempature goes up a bit. Well, at least it feels like it. And it's not everytime I eat a sweet. Like if I eat two brownie cookies, I'm fine. But if I have a piece of chocolate satin pie with an oreo crust, my head feels warmer. Is that bad, good, or normal? I'm 13 if that's needed and I don't have any pervious health problems or diseases.

  1. I do the exact same thing with foods Im alergic to....  so you might wanna go to the doc and get it checked out, you might be early stage diabetic

  2. Until you know if it's bad or good or normal, just don't eat big sweets, or anything that makes you warmer as you might say.

  3. i don't think u should turn to bozo's on the internet...maybe u should describe ur physician of these symptons && see what he//she thinks...i doubt anybody has a doctor's degreee on here!!

  4. You may have juvenile diabetes, or have a glucose intolerance. You need to have your Sugar tested.

  5. Well I'm no doctor but eating sugar does give your body energy so it may have sumthing to do with that. Ask yourself after you eat sugary foods what do I do afterward lay around or do sumthing active? I've also noticed after eating sugary foods and falling a sleep I feel dizzy after waking up so it might be the same in your case, just do sumthing active to get it out of you. I would also like to tell you that you should also talk to a real doctor about it as well just in case to take preliminary actions if it could be sumthing more serious. Trust me you dont want to develop juvenile diabetes or sumthing!

  6. I get hyper after eating a lot of sugar. I don't know though.

  7. You may have low blood sugar.  Or, sometimes when you feel your body with sugar, it gets a rush, but after while your body shuts down.  Your body craves the sugar, when you first get it, but after words, it makes you feel really bad, because you probably had too much.

  8. This is just a guess (a random one at that)you  might have diabetes.I'm just guessing and i'm just a teenager so I'm not like a pro.Go to your doc and check it out.

  9. maybe u don't move a lot, so the sugar in your blood increase and that makes you warmer

but don't worry its not diabetes for sure

  10. Maybe you should get you blood sugar levels checked.... Or it could just be mental.

  11. maybe you should stop eating that pie, even though it sounds really goood.
