Situation-

A chick and a dude are dating, the chick gets mad and hits him when she is pissed, She flirts and kisses other guys and fails to mention she has a boyfriend, Accuses him of cheating 24/7, belittles him and then tells her mom he hits her (which is a bold face lie) And he says with her, and people around here find this more acceptable then a man hitting a women, but why!!!?

  1. Sexism.

Maybe not outright sexism, but it's definitely expected that a man should take more abuse of any kind than a woman.

  2. why?? why are there gold diggers, whores, cheats, thieves, politicians, murders, drunk drivers???

b/c some people are really off there rocks! simple as that.

  3. I guess people don't mind if a woman acts irrational and illogical as much as they do if a man were to do the same.

  4. Wowsers..  Good question!!  These women are attention seekers..and whores for that matter.  She accusses him of cheating because her self esteem is so low and she's cheating on him to get the attention she thinks she deserves and isn't getting from her boyfriend.  She lies about him hitting her because she is weak and has no ground to stand on.  She has to play the victim to feel like she is worth anything because in reality she knows she is trash!!

I don't find that acceptable.  Any man who would stay with a woman like that deserves what she gives.  Obviously he allows the behavior.  We only do what works.  If that works for her...it's because she is being allowed to act like that.  No one is stepping up and telling her to grow up and strap a set on!!

People like this discust me and I choose not to socialize with anyone who acts like that.  Why bother??  I don't do drama in my life.  Keep that to daytime television!!

  5. It sounds more like people don't wont to get involved, they don't really find it acceptable,as much as they are afraid of being accused of something they didn't do...

This woman is a user, takes advantage of people, has a lack of guilt, for lying to her gives personal pleasure, she loves to manipulate him.. She may seem like a good person, but is a neglectful and abusive person..

Sounds like a case of antisocial personality disorder;''sociopath''...

The guy only stays there for the fulfillment of attention, and he thinks she loves him,the relationship Will eventually full apart vary badly..If she has children, even if you think she a good mother, she ain't,and I hope she don't,for if she is like this to him, think what she would do to a child when no ones looking..

That's usually the way a bad woman is,accuses the other to through blame off them, this is a sick woman...

  6. There are four types of abuse; physical, psychological, sexual, and neglect.  Males traditionally, or stereotypically, physically abuse females .  Females traditionally, or stereotypically, psychologically abuse males .  When a female physically abuses a male - it could be seen as a sign of a mental breakdown and therefore is viewed more as a cry for help for herself than as an attempt to inflict serious harm towards a male.  This, as always, is not 100% accurate 100% of the time but, most-often, is the case.

  7. Well I agree that a woman hitting a man is equally unacceptable.  However many see it as more acceptable because the man (typically) has more strength than her.  As for the cheating and emotional abuse, I am unsure.  Perhaps because they are stereotypically male behaviors and they feel she is simply being "liberated"...who knows.  It sounds very hypocritical.

  8. Because ususally men are bigger and stronger than women and they can seriously injure them.  Historically I would wager there are more instances where women have been overpowered by a strong dominating man and are made to be submissive in a relationship.  Typically, a woman hitting a man doesn't result in permanent or serious injury.  Usually just a bruised ego.  What you describe in incredibly dysfuntional though Nancy - just like your relationship with Sid.
