Why does this happen to my inernet when I close it out?

I have Vista and when I close out one of my internet windows it says Internet has stopped working instead of just closing out of the window and then I have to stop the automatic closing thing it does to restart this does anyone know what it could be and how I can stop it from doing this on my other friends computerwhene he closes out the window it exits normally the reason I have ac problem with it is because it closes all my other Internet Windows I have running and I have to go reopen Internet again! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
