Why does this happen when I search? Text inserted into string in Yahoo! search jumps to the end of the string.

Question

If a string of text exists in the Yahoo! search window and I click within it so as to add to it, the next character I type is inserted at that point but then the cursor jumps to the end of the string and everything typed after that is there at the end of the string. What a pain in the rumpatukas!

Does anyone know of a fix for this? Thanks in advance!
