Sometimes I'll fall asleep and not dream about anything, but suddenly I'll wake up and jump as if I was having a nightmare. But in reality, I wasn't dreaming at all. Why is that?

  1. It sounds like sleep apnoea (sp?)

It sounds scary, but basically it's when you temporarily stop breathing in your sleep. Just google it and see if there's anything you can do about it, but I think maybe some fresh air circulating the room might help, but apart from that I don't really know much more about it apart from that it's not dangerous, just annoying!

  2. You probably just moved in your sleep. If you move hard enough, you can wake yourself up. You many have been having a dream too, but almost all of the time, we can't remember our dreams!!

  3. I get that alot too...i dont know what it is or what causes it but its a little scary.  I usually wake up with shotness of breath and disoriented
