  1. I don't know for sure if it works, but it sounds like it could totally make a mess of your eye shadow by making it all goopy

  2. I don't know,  but when I put my eyeshadow on,  I always use foundation and cream shadow under it.  Something about the moisture keeps it on longer.

  3. yes it might help it because the water would make it stick to your eyelids more.

  4. cuz water/liquid sticks on you better than powder does.

  5. yes it works.your taking a powder dust and turning into a paint ( for the most part) the water allows more powder, so it becomes alot thicker. powder rubs off, blows of, wears off, with water added to eye make-up powder , it stays put. also you can do this in place of eye-liner. or you can do this over your eye liner. w/ Qtips be careful of the little fuzzies, and w/ your brushes make sure you wash them often ( keep them clean) from bad germs that can harm your eye.

  6. I use Aloette's eye shadow's which stay on quite well, but I do however use their Nutri Hydrating Mist to wet my brush & use a darker eye shadow as my eye liner....

  7. i beleive it does work as it is been wet it drys to the eye lid surface which helps the skin to absorb better as it is taking in the moistue and the tint of colour

  8. I didnt know that but thanks for the tip lol

  9. yea ive tried it. i'm not sure how but it does work..

some how i like it haha

  10. Bee Luscious Cosmetics shadow magnet the best!

  11. It will make it be applied in a thicker layer so I guess that will make it last longer... You just need to be careful how much you put on!

I know that Cream Shadows stay on longest... I use cream for my brow highlight color and it lasts all day.

  12. Yes, it works.  I've tried it before.  It's hard to believe.  I don't know how it works.  I just know it works.  I've tried it many times.  It really works.

  13. sounds like it wouldn't

you can try yourself one day when you have nothing to do and are bored(:

    but i doubt it works.

  14. Think about something like flour on your hands.  If your hands are dry, you can pretty much brush it all off.  If your hands were wet, it'll stick more.

  15. This statement is false.  If you apply eye shadow on with water, the shadow itself becomes more of a liner than a shadow.  But if you want to have your eye shadow have the hold, I recommend applying a thin layer of concealer on the eye lid before applying the shadow.  By doing this, you'll have something that the shadow can stick to.  Otherwise, it'll come off so easily.

  16. it only works if they're mineral shadows but even then it wont stay as long as it would if you add a shadow primer...

with regular pressed eye shadows it wont apply as well or last very long

you're better off applying a primer and then wetting your brush and applying mineral shadows so they go on smooth and last all day.

  17. I'm guessing because as it drys it get sticks more to your skin??

  18. Works for me...I bought this stuff from sephora from urban decay, its kind eyeshadow potion and it turns your powder eyeshadow into liquid shadow or liner. works nicley, stays on well!

  19. Yes the water and eye shadow mix helps make the color penetrate deeper into your skin and stick to it. On the other hand it may clog pores and its not good to mix mater with make up. If you want your eyeshadow to stay on longer try 2 layers and then smudging it and toning it down.

  20. I hav actually tried that before idk y it does that but it also makes the eye shadow look darker too

  21. Same thing happens when you put moisturizer on your face, a tiny bit will be on your upper lids, when nearly dry, apply powder shadow, it adheres to the lotion and lasts all day.

  22. go on youtube.com and type in make up tutorials that helped me alot i didnt know alot about make up now i am slowly learning

  23. no I don't think it's a good idea it will make the shadow crease or uneven a lotion or cream will be better as an eye shadow primer because it grab eye shadow before it dries.

  24. Yes it does. I've seen my sister do it many times and it makes her look ridiculously ugly :)) gotao
