Why does this watch have all the extra dials?

Question

the one one the left is for the day, but what do the smaller dials on the bottom, and right mean?

umm more than likely its for such things as day(mon, wed) it could be a timer kinda thing like a stop watch, it also could be a depth gage, it is nautica so sailing and water might come in to play.  but i am not sure.
