Question:

Why does this weird "blue" feeling suddenly come over me?

It's like I feel perfectly fine; I'm smiling, laughing, hanging around with everyone like I always do, but then just a few minutes later, this "blue" feeling just dawns on me. I don't know what it is, or why I get it. I suddenly feel like I mean nothing.

Can someone tell me what's up with me? How I can help it?

*oh and for people who will ask, I don't do anything like cut myself, or think of suicide*

  1. That used to happen to me all the time and still does. I know exactly what you mean. I'd be with my friends laughing and having a good time and then all of a sudden I'd feel completely alone even though I was surrounded by a ton of people. I'd want to be alone and then when I was alone I wanted to be back with my friends. I'm sure it's normal because there are other people who experience it too, but it passes. Maybe you should try talking to someone. I did, and it helped me a lot.

  2. Your feelings are completly normal, you can't do anything physical to help yourself. All you can do is think positive and think about what great things you have and also about the lesser things you have and think "does anyone care?  will this problem matter in a years time or anyone remember it?"

You don't mean nothing. Everyone means something to someone.

There are questions you may ask yourself like can one life really make a difference or if the choices we make matter... They do matter, one man can change many lives, for better or worse.

Do not look back and grieve over the past, for it is gone and do not be troubled for the future for it is yet to come. Live in the present and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering. Because sometimes we have to step outside the person you've been, and remember the person you are meant to be. The person you wanted to be. The person you are.

i have a quote that i love to keep in mind always, "Be not afraid of life, believe that life is worth living, and your belief will help create the fact."

  3. I think that while you are smiling, laughing, hanging around with people, you are aware that you are doing so.  And while you are alone, listening to someone else talk, waiting for someone, you are aware that there is an absence on your part.

Is it normal, depends on whether you have always been aware of those times when this has happened before and whether it was a regular occurance for you.

  4. that used to happen to me too.

it's like i'm all normal then suddenly if feel all depressed.

for me it usually happened on rainy or cloudy days (don't know if that has anything to do with it)

I never did anything about it

now i don't get it anymore
