Question:

Why does vitamin b2 make me nauseated?

I have many of the symptoms of b2(riboflavin) deficiency, but every time I take riboflavin I feel sick to my stomach, almost vomit. It is non-toxic and I'm not even taking very much. I do usually take b1(thiamine) with it.... Has anyone else ever felt severe nausea from taking vitamin b2?

  1. Taking B vitamins without food will definitely make you feel very ill ..........  vitamin B2 works best with vitamin B6, B3 and vitamin C ...........  don't take any of the B complex of vitamins individually but rather as a whole complex as they do work best together  .........  so get a multi B containing all the B's ie ~ B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12 and folic acid etc..... eat more foods rich in vitamin C too ie ~ leafy and green vegies, citrus fruits such as lemons, limes and oranges, tomatoes and potatoes.

or simply eat more foods rich in B2 ~fish, leafy gren vegies, eggs, beans, liver & kidneys ♥

Please also ensure that whichever supplement you decide to buy doesn't contain any lactose, wheat, yeast, gluten, preservatives or flavorings, sugar or yeast as none of these have any place in a good quality supplement anyways and if you are intolerant to any one of them it will cause digestive upsets.

    hope this helps a bit

    cheers
