weird al make for them for the same reason anybody would make anything--money.the mayans made the first calendar so they could tell when it was a good time to plant crops.they also made the number 0 but whatever....and jello is made out of sugar,water and proteins that hold it together and make it jiggly but not like meat because when people hear protein they think meat.this is how the rumor spread that it was made of pork and fish and other things
