  1. Grape juice concentrate that has water mixed in counts as juice, according to the government.

  2. When they say 100% grape juice, it means they use grapes, not organic or anything. That is not part of the ingredients. If it was just grapes, I would say it would be pretty disgusting. Like a tangy syrup.

  3. I don't know it's just like when they say skim milk has no fat when it really does

  4. psh beats me but im sure its just an advertising thing cuz mainly kids drink that stuff and parents want the healthiest stuff for their kids they dont want stuff that says full of sugar or whatever this is pure advertisement

  5. The main component of any juice is water. The fact that it's from concentrate simply means that at one point most of the water was removed and then it was added back before bottling. Most likely this is done so they can store the concentrate throughout the year and produce a steady supply of juice through out the year. Otherwise they would have a huge supply around harvest time and none at other times.

You'll note the label says 100% grape juice, but it does not say fresh squeezed grape juice.

  6. false advertising....

    pretty tastey though.

  7. I think it's because they mean they don't put other types of fruit juices in it. If you just squished grapes you would get a very interesting wine. You have to water it down and make it safe with water and other stuff.

  8. Concentrate means they extracted water from the original juice that was taken from the grapes. It makes it easier to store and cheaper to ship to different makers as well. Then when it is ready to be made into bottled juice at the manufacturer they add water back into the concentrate. It is still juice by adding water.

It says 100% grape juice because they did not add any other juices to it or add more water than the original juice had. For instance if they added twice as much water to the concentrate than they originally took out then it would not be 100% juice. Plus many makers like to add apple juice to a bunch of other juices.
