  1. In the medieval times men was always above women and if these things were to be blamed on anyone it would be women. The stereotype has jus carried on through the centuries

  2. I'm a beautiful girl but spells and all that don't suit me at all.

Though they do suit girls more than guys. It's like sleepovers..it can't be explained why girls like them more than guys.

  3. I can't say for sure, but many legends refer to men as being bewitched as well. In the movies, on tv, it's an attractive. Woman portray seductive, jealous beings better then men do. On tv and in movies.

  4. That doesn't really make sense. I thought females are witches and guys are warlocks...I've never heard of a female warlock...you can go back and add more to your question ya know.

  5. cause guys are logical.

  6. The answer to that question would be an incredibly long, complicated one.

If you think of folklore and mythology as ways of explaining the "grammar" of culture/society, then women being more "magical" than men starts to make sense. In western culture, women have traditionally been "Other"--the cultural norm/center is the male position, and women are defined in relation to men. Attributing supernatural attributes to the "Other"--women--helps make sense of their peripheral position.

There are locks of books you could read on the subject.  "The Monstrous-Feminine: Film, Femininism, Psychoanalysis" for instance.
