Question:

Why does yahoo delete questions that show liberal hypocracy?

I have received 2 violations for questions "not an answer/question" when even some libs stated "good question" in their answers and yet they were deleted for the reason stated above. I have had answers deleted also, for the same reason. When I tried to appeal the system would not take my form, after about 10 tries to submit the form it finally gave me an error message. I am contacting an attorney to see about a class action against yahoo for discrimination, I have to wonder if this is futile but who knows. As consumers of Yahoo's product we have a right to a quality product, not one that shows a clear bias towards their consumers. This is more for yahoo screeners than anyone else. I hope some lib reports this. sure is a question though. Do I meet the guidelines.

  1. Your questions may be offensive, or insulting, your 'good question' may be voiced by those who feel as vehemently as you do.

Since more than one person has to feel that you have crossed the lines of either good taste or you have descended into rant, you may just need to put things a little differently.

  2. They're just being liberal. Liberals ALWAYS repress dissent. They hate it when you refuse to believe that your leaders are smarter than you and should make all your decisions, they hate it when you refuse to take their handouts; they much prefer you depend on the government.

  3. Funny.  I thought a main mantra of the Right was that frivolous lawsuits should be abolished and those bringing them punished.  End impediments to free trade, etc.  Guess I was wrong.

    P.S. Grow a pair.

  4. If your upset with Yahoo why do you help them make money? I ans a very disrespectful post about Mr Bush and America with ''Ho please'' and my acct was deleted What I'm doing is reporting any thing that is disrespectful and let those ''people'' sort it out

  5. My questions showing conservative hypocrisy get deleted too, along with some of my answers.  It's the chance you take to express your opinion out here.

Don't bother to go crying to your lawyer about it.  You're not being discriminated against, you're not being "harmed", and you are not a "consumer" of yahoo's services...because you don't pay Yahoo for it.  It's a free service, and if you don't like it, you don't have to participate.

  6. It's not worth wasting youre time and money on a attorney, you wont be able to do anything about it. and plus it probably isnt yahoo the website itself, but the people who use it. they probably gave it a lot of abuse reports (because they were consevatives), and so they had to delete it.

  7. Don't worry it happens allot. Why? Well its yahoo, hoo knows.

  8. Why is there such paranoia on the Right? Its unlikely that Y!A deleted you questions.  More likely that other users reported them causing the deletion.

Anyone who uses this section of the site regularly has had an unwarranted violation notice.

Why are the pro business Right wingers so ignorant to the fact that this is Yahoo!'s property and they make the rules?  If you don't like it, don't use this FREE service.

  9. An attorney?  For what?  You're not paying for anything and if you want to rant, why do it under the anonymity of Y!A?  An attorney will laugh their @ss off when they hear your case...however, if you keep looking, theirs probably always a green horn attorney that would attempt to take it...

  10. Im middle of the road.its comes from both liberal points and conservative points.dont waste your time. Id advise just to move on. no big deal.

  11. TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION:  I don't know.

I have a received MULTIPLE violation notices any time I have posted questions and answers that question Barrack Obama's experience.  In some cases I never even mention his name.  I too get the same reason for the violation:  "Not a question/answer".  That is why you have to be as precise and as short and as to the point as possible.  If your question is more than a couple of lines, it could be considered a "rant".  If your answers don't precisely answer the question, that could constitute a violation.  I too believe that yahoo is VERY one sided.  However, I think the yahoo police are looking more for direct questions and answers more than the content.  I suppose we'll see when I receive a violation notice for this!

  12. They cancel it because of complaints. Yahoo doesn't read the question when they receive complaints they just delete it. It seems that people on both sides of the spectrum have a hard time looking at each others ignorance.

  13. Don't waste your time with an attorney.  It is just the way they operate here and their rules. Get over it.
