Why does your body tingle and almost make you laugh when it falls asleep?

Whenever my leg, for example, falls asleep.. why does it always feel weird and almost make me want to laugh? Why and how do certain body parts fall asleep?

  1. Your limbs "fall asleep" because of lack of blood flow to them, most the time because you have put pressure on an artery that feeds that limb and cut off the circulation. it gets tingly because the neurons and tissue of that area are oxygen deprived and are not sending the correct signal to your brain.

  2. I'm sure somebody else will explain but, I never laugh, Sometimes your foot or arm falls to sleep so bad it hurts, mostly when it falls to sleep when your sleeping and when you wake up.
