Question:

Why does your eyesight deteriorate so rapidly?

Why is it that a lot of people develop eyesight problems early in life? Why does the other 4 senses last longer? Can this be explained in biological terms, or theological terms? If the human body is perfect, surely the eyes are supposed to last until at least up till when we are old.

  1. Oh my gosh, so sad.

Our bodies our so much more perfect than our greatest scientists can comprehend. There was a time when scientists believed that the appendix, wisdom teeth, and gall bladder were left over bits of scaffolding from the evolutionary proccess. We now know that they perform vital funtions for life. Our bodies are doing what they are supposed to: respond to the way we take care of it, keep us alive for a set time, and return us home from this field trip when that time is up.

All the symptoms that lavalamp listed are symptoms of malnutrition, neglect, and poisoning. This also includes cancer, diabetes, alzheimers, asthma, melanoma, etc. Opposition has really gotten us off track by putting money first before people.

If bikers and runners got the right nutrition(another thing which scientists and doctors are very confused about) they would have no problems.

Brittle bones come from excesses of sugar and not enough of other nutrients which raises the acidity of our body and forces it to take calcium from our bones to neutralize it. This acidity also allows the cleaning crew of bacteria and fungus to settle into our bodies while we are yet alive and give us a myriad of disease.

The basic rate at which Americans age is also a measure of our malnutrition, neglect, and poisoning. It was greatly improved only by our cleanliness.

And eyesight, human eyesight is the best on the planet. Very few animals have as good a combination of day and night vision. We can even learn how to have a little bit of telescopic(better than 20/20) vision, and a little microscopic(writing on grains of rice) vision. Not to mention the software we have for the best digital zoom as well.

The eyes are supposed to be perfect until our time is up. We as an American Society have learned how to interfere with our perfect eyesight and our good health. People get blurry vision because they have learned how to use their eyes, mind, and body together incorrectly. These incorrect vision habits squeeze our eyes out of shape and give us blurry vision. 60 to 80 percent of Americans have blurry vision. To me this is a blatantly obvious sign that we are not doing things right on a massive scale.

We can return to natural perfect eyesight by upgrading our vision software for these complex times. We need to unlearn the incorrect vision habits, reintegrate the correct vision behaviors, and undo the damage of artificial corrections and blurr.

I don't mean to be so tough though. We are all here in the same boat, having a human experience, learning and growing together.

  2. Oh wow, the human body is so very far from perfect. Take the knee joint for example, it's such a fragile little thing that has to translate large forces. Bikers and runners especially have problems with their knees.

The ball of the hip joint is also very small, and as bones become more brittle as we age it is liable to snap with even a minor fall.

Everything gets worse as we age, hearing is another prime example, the frequency range we are sensitive to decreases constantly from the moment of birth.

Our eyes aren't even that good to begin with! For a start, the nerves that carry the signals to our brain actually run IN FRONT of the retina, we would have much better vision and wouldn't have a blind spot if that were not the case.

Of course, the human body is still an amazing machine, it's far better than anything I could come up with, but given the chance I'd definately want to upgrade mine.

Don't forget though that we weren't meant to live so long. These long lives we enjoy are only due to relatively recent (in evolutionary terms) changes in sanitation and life style.
