Why does your hair grow?

is hair poisonous? is that the reason why it escapes the body?

  2. this is quite hard to explain because this is invovle on anatomical studies but i know for sure that hair and nails are not poisonous and so as nails.

    i would recommend you to read anatomy and physiology book in the library  

  3. Hair is not poisonous. It is simply a part of your body that cycles forming new growth continuously much like your skin, nails etc.

    Hair, as with nails, feathers, scales, sweatglands, etc is a mineature organ derived from an interaction of tissues during embryonic development.Unlike many organs, once formed, hair undergoes a continual cycling of phases including a growth phase (called anagen) a regression phase (catagen), a resting phase (telogen) and a shedding of the old hair shaft (exogen) which is then replaced by a new one as the hair follicle resumes a new anagen phase.
