Why does your jaw shake when you cry sometimes?

like.. sometimes when you cry your jaw shakes as if you were cold.. i don;t know.. i just never understood it.

  1. I would say.. just like when your arms may quiver after lifting weights you aren't use to.. and those muscles and nerves feel 'wobbly'.. that the same thing happens when you are crying.. you are using  facial muscles in a way you aren't use to.. but I think this is one of those questions like ' why does my heart ache when he/shes gone?.. it's just a nice mystery of life..
