Why does youtube tell me to "please check comment" when I try and say something on someones channel?

whenever this happens I didn't post any links or anything that could be considered spam, I didn't even use curse words. It usually happens when my comment is a little longer, but people leave me long comments all the time without any problem

same thing happened to me, i just sent it as a personal message and it got through so, just do that/
