Why doesn't Avon have any physical stores if they're so big?

They make a lot of money and all they have is online stores and local representatives? Am I the only one who thinks thats weird?

They are a direct selling company

And I make pretty good money not very little and I choose my schedule, save a ton on product, have a blast and earn rewards.

And for the record there are some Avon stores that are run by Avon Reps so you can have your own store as well.

They don't have shops in the uk but think they do have a few in the US?

They don't have shops so that they can offer their products at lower prices to customers as they aren't paying the overheads of rent etc etc.

yeah. maybe its because they like having alot of money and they dont want to spend it on building stores and paying other employees.

Or probably its because they make more money because they have representatives literally bringing the stuff to your doors. Instead of spending money on advertising to have people go to their stores, they just have a person [that gets payed very little] come to your doorstep.

Why do they need to have stores? They have been successful for over 120 years doing business the way they are doing business.  What cosmetic company has stores? Many have mall representation or in the case of lower end cosmetics, shelf representation in stores.

They are able to keep their prices down while offering excellent quality and pay representatives at various levels. Pretty amazing when you compare, say, a lipstick; $15 at the mall or $4 with Avon.  hmmm, doesn't sound too weird to me! Sounds like a brilliant business model!
