Last I knew, we were the citizens of the U.S. and it is our tax money that is being sent to Georgia and many of us have no homes or jobs here in the U.S. Not like it's coming out of Bush's personal pocket.

  1. that is your congress, you forget about congress, they approve or dis prove everything, but Bush as the worst I have seen in my lifetime

  2. Because we're no longer in an isolationist state.

    Seriously.

The problem is that you wouldn't be arguing this unless people in the U.S. weren't feeling the "crunch".  The problem is that people don't march or vote until something directly effects them so when it does come down to these things, you get stuck with policies you may not want.

  3. Bush doesn't believe in governing by polls.

That's why he ranks so high in them.

Sometimes you have to represent the people who voted for you.

But once he got their vote, he stopped caring what they thought.

  4. Well he gave the world the finger when he wanted to invade Iraq and the rest of the world said No.

Why are you surprised that he's doing the same to you?

  5. Bush represents the American people.  If we do not approve of his representation then we replace him with another choice. If we replace him with the wrong choice then we have only ourselves to blame. If Bush did not represent us as we felt that he would we have a form of government that allows us to replace him.

Go to the polls and cast your vote.  If you elect a representative that bows to a small percentage of the people who choose to march in the streets then you have elected a weak leader. The majority of the people rule.  The small number of people who try to influence by marching in the streets are  poor representatives of what this country was meant to be. Thousands of people marching in the streets are not the majority. They may sway public opinion but a strong leader will stand fast and not waver from the coarse. Those marching in the streets are also those that did not go to work that day at their jobs or spend their time seeking a job. Also, a job will do until I find a position  that I prefer.

  6. Since when has Bush been concerned about what the majority of US citizens want?  Hey, you don't get the lowest approval ratings in history by representing ALL the people.

  7. So if you are against our government from giving freebies out as I'am than it will pain you to know what one of our senators is planning. Seems one of them has sponsored a bill called the Global poverty Act S.2433, as the name implies this bill is about stopping third world poverty and helping children, that sounds nice.

The problem with the bill is it would require the U.S.A to partner with the UN and allow the UN to set standerds for child welfare within the participating countries. So if the bill passes the U.S. will no longer have sole say on our own children.

The UN has also a goal for each country to meet, America's share is 845,000,000,000 dollars with 65 billion up front.

Also all countries will have to implement legislation aimed at removing all handguns and light weapons.

This is the senate bill introduced by junior sen Barak Hussein Obama, I checked with my congressman Bart Stupak (D) and his office confirmed the bills existance and status as live on the senate floor untill Dec 31st, 2008.

Makes that one billion seem much easier to live with doesn't it?.

  8. do you know how much money we send to a god forsaken african continent every year? billions upon billions...a billion for our allie in the former soviet  union grip is fine and just..
