Why doesn't Congress make a law inserting tariffs on oil leaving the USA?

The USA can pump plenty of oil to keep the USA going, and it would be cheaper for costs if all the refining and delivery was in the USA, which means that it would be cheaper for the USA, bringing down costs. So, why don't they do this to companies?

As far as the trade agreements go, they are aiding the US in losing her sovereignty.

  1. We can do that and we can drop the state and federal gas tax then gas would be back to 3.25 a gallon then if we open up more drilling gas would also go lower.

  2. They could, but for some reason our government isn't concerned about the interests of it's own people anymore. I think it's all part of a globalist one world government agenda myself. If they 'create' a new depression, then they can maybe push another 'new deal'. In todays world of logic of no logging, no mining, no drilling, I can't even imagine what's in store for us. I'm thinking something like an American union, opening Mexican, and Canadian borders, in the pattern of Europe, and implementing the Amero as the currency.

Harry Reid (NV) was on TV the other night saying that Americans burning fossil fuels are filling his lungs with poison. He wants gas to be $7-9 a gallon. And this is one of our leaders representing us?!

No one product in America can drive inflation faster than the price of fuel. Everything takes fuel to create, and deliver to market. Anyone who doesn't believe this can go check prices at the grocery (or any) store. These idiots who support high fuel prices have no understanding (or lots of understanding) of how our economy works, and that high fuel prices can bring it all crashing down.

Do some research on who the oil companies are. I am sure that the money trail begins, and ends at the world bank. I have a few links on this, but they get repeatably blocked on Y/A with a 'error 999' message.

Nothing like having the FED playing real life Monopoly, with the whole world viewed as it's tokens, and properties.

  3. then that would mean they would have...... wait a minute...

I say again, we have the grains they need as we are the bread basket of the world.... lets just not ship grain or raise it to $200 a bushel - see who grimaces first....

How about that - Cruel World....

  4. What do you mean by "plenty"? The US only has about 3% of the world's oil reserves.
