Why doesn't Floyd let his sparring sessions be taped?

I guess its not to reveal his game plan but many stars can be seen sparring. He is so secretive about it. Its always got me curious.

  1. Because he is probably testing out whatever strategies he has for whatever fight he has coming up and doesnt want anyone getting those tapes. Really, I can't imagine it'd do him any favors for anyone to see his sparring sessions.

    A better question might be "Why do other boxers let people tape their sparring session?" It really makes less sense to tape them than to not.

  3. Hes a very counter-y type fighter, he uses the shell alot. Maybe he feels that getting a real good look at it may reveal a hole in his game.
